Mumu-totoro was stumped.
She too had a party to go to and had no idea what to bring!
As she sat on a boulder, sunning herself in the warm summer weather, she thought about her favorite foods until she was hungry.
Just across a stream, she notices a patch of snow and ice that had mysteriously not melted this spring!
The ice gave her the most perfect food idea… berry sorbet!
Lickety split, Mumu-totoro was off to find some berries and crush up the ice before it melt.
This was going to be quite the party!
Neri-totoro was also scouring the forest in search for a yummy potluck item. Berries sounded too sweet for today, so she wasn’t going to make anything like a berry pie. No, today she felt like making a salad. She hopped and trodded to the nearest pond where she was sure to find copious amounts of leafy greens! After finding an assortment of kale, water lilies, duckweed, and moss (for a bit of a kick!), she was off to make fantastic salad. This party was going to be like no other!
Lulu-Totoro scampered around the forest in search of something grad. Today was the day of the great Totoro festival! And she was going to make sure that her potluck item was going to taste the best. She scoured the forest floor and stumbled upon the most perfect idea! She was going to make raspberry pie! Now to find the berries…
Francine bumbled around the reef.
What would she find today?
Would someone be growing sea cucumbers and sponges?
She hoped they were like the ones she saw at the fair.
Would she make a new friend? Those are always lovely.
Francine kept swimming, wandering in the hopes of finding something new.
"Do you wanna fly kites?" A small perch asked behind her. "For some reason I have two kites and no one to fly the second one with!"
"I’d love to!" Francine replied.
"Great! Here’s your kite," and the little perch handed Francine a kite string.
